It is very important to care for your Pure Zone products to ensure their longevity. Whilst we pride ourselves on having easy care products, we strive to create products that look good, feel great and wash well. But you need to follow the care guidelines too.
We know the feeling when you come home with new bedlinen and want to put it straight on your bed. But wait. At Pure Zone, we always recommend washing your new bedlinen before the first use. Please follow the Care Instructions below to assist in the longevity of your Pure Zone bedlinen.
At Pure Zone, we want you to get the most out of your bedlinen. We recommend cool to warm machine wash on a gentle to normal cycle. Always use a mild detergent that should be dissolved prior to adding your bedlinen, and should not come in contact with the bedlinen. Be aware that some detergents have bleaching agents or optical brighteners which can cause damage if it comes in direct contact with the fabric.
Once your bedlinen has finished its washing cycle, we highly recommend removing it from the machine immediately so it doesn't stay wet in the machine for too long. This will help avoid extra wrinkles in the bedlinen. Line dry your Pure Zone Cotton bedlinen with fresh air in the shade, and fold when dry. However, if you want to tumble dry your bedlinen, then please do so on a cool setting. Remove immediately and fold. When following these Care Instructions, ironing should not be necessary. However, if desired, warm iron only that does not come into contact with any embroidered features.
Another thing to be aware of when caring for your bedlinen, as Cotton is a natural fibre, it is best to avoid any Bleaches, Peroxide, Skin treatment creams or Self-tanners.

At Pure Zone, we always recommend washing your towels on their own before use. To ensure the longevity of your Pure Zone Towels, we recommend cool to warm machine wash on a gentle to normal cycle. Do not use any form of fabric conditioner or detergent with fabric conditioner to wash your Towels. Fabric conditioner will substantially reduce the absorbency of your towels.
Commercial laundries are very harsh on all fabrics and are not recommended for your Pure Zone Towels.
Line dry your Pure Zone Towels with fresh air in the shade, or tumble dry on a warm setting.
Some Towels that are 100% Cotton can have excess fluff initially, which will settle after washing/tumble drying.
Different pillows require different care. But all Pillows should be washed on a regular basis. Below is a guide for your Pure Zone Pillows.

ABSORBENCY, SHRINKAGE AND COLOUR FASTNESS
With proper care and following recommended Product Care Instructions, shrinkage should not be a problem with any Pure Zone products.
All Pure Zone Cotton towels are tested to provide lasting colour, excellent absorbency and minimal shrinkage especially in the borders. All Pure Zone fabrics are tested for shrinkage before they are manufactured so we can make the correct allowances. However, shrinkage can be up to as much as 10%. Shrinkage is also a factor of the way the product is washed and dried. This can be dependent on the type of washing machine used (whether it’s a front or top loader), the washing cycle used, the strength of the washing cycle, water temperature and how the product is dried (line dry or tumble dry). As such, we have allowed for this shrinkage and improper care and therefore some products may seem larger when first opened.
The absorbency of a Cotton Towel can be maintained by not using fabric softeners as a “coating” sticks to the fibre and whereas the towel feels soft, absorbency is reduced. Cotton Towels can be kept soft by warm tumble drying. Excess Cotton from the milling process can cause fluffing in some new Cotton Towels. Whereas this can be annoying to start with, it is not a fault and will settle after washing. Wash all Towels separately from other items and only with like colours.
The colour of Cotton Towels or Cotton Bedlinen can be maintained by not using any oxidising detergents, bleaching agents or optical brighteners. Bathroom/laundry cleaning products should not come into contact with towels or bedlinen. Some facial cleansing solutions, hair products contain bleaching agents or peroxides or self-tanning creams can affect the colour of a towel or bedlinen, so we recommend you avoid these.
