GD Product Care

It is very important to care for your Pure Zone products to ensure their longevity. Whilst we pride ourselves on having Easy Care Products, we strive to create products that look good, feel great and wash well. But you need to follow the care guidelines too.

Caring for new Bedlinen for the first time

We know the feeling when you come home with new bedlinen and want to put it straight on your bed. But wait. At Pure Zone, we always recommend washing your new bedlinen before the first use. Please follow the Care Instructions below to assist in the longevity of your Pure Zone bedlinen.

CARING FOR COTTON BEDLINEN

At Pure Zone, we want you to get the most out of your bedlinen. We recommend cool to warm machine wash on a gentle to normal cycle. Always use a mild detergent that should be dissolved prior to adding your bedlinen, and should not come in contact with the bedlinen. Be aware that some detergents have bleaching agents or optical brighteners which can cause damage if it comes in direct contact with the fabric.

Once your bedlinen has finished its washing cycle, we highly recommend removing it from the machine immediately so it doesn't stay wet in the machine for too long. This will help avoid extra wrinkles in the bedlinen. Line dry your Pure Zone Cotton bedlinen with fresh air in the shade, and fold when dry. However, if you want to tumble dry your bedlinen, then please do so on a cool setting. Remove immediately and fold. When following these Care Instructions, ironing should not be necessary. However, if desired, warm iron only that does not come into contact with any embroidered features.

Another thing to be aware of when caring for your bedlinen, as Cotton is a natural fibre, it is best to avoid any Bleaches, Peroxide, Skin treatment creams or Self-tanners.

Once your bedlinen has finished its washing cycle, we highly recommend removing it from the machine immediately so it doesn't stay wet in the machine for too long. This will help avoid extra wrinkles in the bedlinen. Line dry your Pure Zone Flannelette bedlinen with fresh air in the shade, and fold when dry. However, if you want to tumble dry your bedlinen, then please do so on a cool setting. Remove immediately and fold. When following these Care Instructions, ironing should not be necessary. However, if desired, warm iron only.

Pure Zone Flannelette is 100% Cotton fabric which can shrink slightly when washed. At Pure Zone, we allow for this and cut this slightly larger than required to allow for minimal shrinkage. Due to the nature of brushing the Cotton to create Flannelette, there can be some excess fluff. This will settle after washing. We always recommend washing Flannelette before use, same as all bedlinen.
